Carlos Boozer - F/C - Jazz

According to an ESPN report, there is a three-team trade being discussed that would send Carlos Boozer to Chicago, Kirk Hinrich to Portland, and Tyrus Thomas to Utah.
The Jazz are interested in moving Carlos Boozer in order to keep Paul Millsap, and Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard is facing intense pressure to make a move after missing out on Hedo Turkoglu, as well as criticism for his handling of Brandon Roy's and LaMarcus Aldridge's extensions. Add the fact that Thomas has been rumored to be on the block, and all of the ingredients are there for a trade, so stay tuned. Jul. 9 - 6:06 p.m. ET

Hey Hache, hope all is well....Any word on whether or not Bulls would get another player in return? Like Blake or something? Been searching around but cant find anything...This could be an interesting deal with Boozer in the last year of his deal and all, and the big name free agents at the end of this season...very curious as to how this plays out...

The Jazz would be just giving Boozer away.........
No Way they are giving him away.I can tell you are a boozer bias..TT can be a beast under Sloan and they are saving a ton.
I am sure they will receive picks and $$ too..The lux tax is going to have a big
impact on teams this year with this recession..
If Boozer stays healthy and plays good great but he still makes bonehead plays just like tt so there saving money and tyrus is a better defender anyway..
Good trade for everyone my honest opinion..
I will enjoy seeing TT under Sloan though should be good...LOL

Carlos Boozer - F/C - Jazz

ESPN's Mark Stein and Chad Ford are reporting that the potential trade they reported Thursday (Carlos Boozer to Chicago, Kirk Hinrich to Portland, Tyrus Thomas to Utah), a report that was disputed by Bulls.com's Sam Smith, is still alive and that Jerryd Bayless' name has been added to the discussions.
Whether or not this deal has actually been discussed by the teams is a controversial topic among league insiders, and the only additional news presented in this report is that the Bulls would want point guard Jerryd Bayless thrown in the deal. Jul. 10

The Brandon Roy talks are coming to a head. Word is Roy wants $80 mil./5 year. But Blazers, for whatever reason, only want a 4 year contract.

If no contract agreed on in next day or two, Roy will make a public critical statement.

</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>Carlos Boozer broke his public silence on Tuesday, telling a Chicago radio station that he expects he's "gonna be traded relatively soon or in good time."
"The Jazz told me they want to go in a different direction," Boozer said. "We mutually agreed to work out a trade...If it happens I'll be very happy." The fact that Boozer gave the interview in Chicago will probably fuel rumors that he'll be traded there, but Miami, New York and Detroit are also possible destinations.
