49ers had a week off to regroup under Singletary. Even though they were embarrassed at home in their last game, Singletary sent a clear message of what he expected out of his players. Shaun Hill won't make nearly as many mistakes as JTO, and without those excessive turnovers, the 49ers should keep it somewhat close.

Bets are "stupid" only if the loose however, I do agree, those are tough odds. I can't picture a Singletary coached team "throughing in the towel" for the seasonand road trips logistically keeps a team "closer" together. Laying 17.5 points in this situation would be a difficult proposition to under take.
This isn't right. Either you are making decisions that are profitable or you aren't, regardless of the outcome. Betting your whole BR on a "sure thing" is stupid, even if you win. Betting the first line you see rather than shopping is stupid. Reading a tout and jumping on a game without any other research is flat out dumb.
