I think I mentioned this before but check out the O/U in Chicago when the closing line is 7.5, this goes for 2006 also. GL

i do have a decent and powerful computer. but my 2 years of cbb data spreadsheets worth of history data is bringing it to a halt.

i hate breaking it up but right now it sure looks that way. right now it's in 2003 excel format, i'll see if updating it to 2007 helps.

i know most of the cheap fucks in the nfl and cfb forums wont have 2007 excel or even know how to use excel. they can always d/l the free viewer. not really that many pivot tables like the mlb but just a whole bunch of games. even took off auto calc and does not help much. just a simple drop down filter sort is taking over 5 min to generate the data

fwiw all the 7- in Chicago home games were all day games.

i'm glad many of you are using the spreadsheets, and looking at the numbers in as many way possible. remember, numbers dont lie, but liers figure. not to say roach and bill are liers, you just need to keep an open mind, be as objective as possible when looking at the numbers and look at as many options as possible.

also dont drill down too far as the data becomes useless. eg. on the 1st monday of every month after pitching a 1 run games on the west coast and travel to the east coast and than go back to the mid west when the wind is blowing at over 7 mph from the east, and before the end of daylight savings time with a game on espn where joe morgan is not in the booth

youre right, trends do go the other direction at night....though temp and humdity still look good. Tks

the key is that wind and direction. OM put a big prem on what looks like a very small speed. i think roach is going to have to drive down to the stadium after work with his wind and humidity meter and go on the room of one of those houses accross the street and find out 4 sure

Pops I like being able to go back to the 2006 SS and seeing if the same trends held up back then. Next year the temp and humidity data we are keeping this year will be priceless.

we'll put together a wish list of changes or addes for next year if i'm still around and have not died or retired from everything except playing video games

fyi, i have uploaded all the 2005-2006 cfb spreadsheet data. i put it into excel 2007 format the file is less 10% of the size of mlb but slower than me trying to make my dick stiff. i cant figure out why, appears much slower than last year and my puter is twice as fast

i created a seperate directory on the ftp called cfb 2005-2006

need to get a couple of things done, back in about a hour

Sin, would you agree Roach is more suitable for Peoria than Chicago?

He can always move to Toledo if he slips too far down the Chicago social scene.
