Well work turned into a complete day of R&R for me today, sorry to be absent today. Didn't like any action on the Mariners game and wasn't home to crunch the numbers. Managed to sweep the three plays I did have on Rocks Un, Pads Ov, and the O's ML, nice to come home to. Gonna crank out the Cin/Sea SS late tonight when Yahoo updates M's stats and post/e-mail it early as I'm going to be downtown at the stadium and game all day tomorrow.

That's the truth, they're bringing on the thunder in J.J. Putz. Somehow the guy turned into the best closer in the business, but two years ago I distinctly remember watching him give up grannies in consecutive outings. Ah the 99 loss Mariners were a treat weren't they?

I live just south of Seattle and you mention Bobby Ayala and I had to go puke up my fuckin dinner.........very nice! That guy stunk to high heaven! You just never know with the Mariners. Swore last year I wouldn't touch their games and here I am again this year down five units on Mariners games alone........fuck me!:thumbsup:

That'll happen. Hard to believe Bobby held the team saves record before Kaz came to town chuckin 'the thang' and making everyone look like fools. Everytime I get down thinking of Bobby Ayala I like to reflect on three or four guys that kind of make you laugh at the Mariners' existence: Rich Amaral, Alex Diaz, Doug Strange and Henry Cotto. I mean come on.
