Anyone out there have a way to get data on Pitching ERAs and WHIPS and also batting averages and OBP for teams in the immediate games after a day off.

I would be interested to know if we can find something that would support it being beneficial for the the hitters or the pitchers. I know the pitchers may not be affected because of rotations but the total effect could be calculated this way.

Pops could you go into a bit of detail on the std. dev. thing. I see Det has a 1.1 number what is this compared to. Is higher better? Can it be used for sides? This number is in col DI on the WA_NPS.

as simple as i can make it w/o starting another thread on the subject, but the small the number the better, means all the avg's are very close to the same number, and a bigger number like the 1.1 means that some of the data points have a large difference

COACHESPLAYS-In order to get 2.5 do you do something special or just a special play 5 offers. Did not see that offered at any place I go. Most was 1.5. Big difference. Matching your plays up to pops averages I would have crossed out Hou, TB and Sea just an opinion with out any study.

it's not on there since the change to the new format, still trying to figure out how to tie it to era and whip (those are very complex and have such a large number range so it's tough to get your hands around) we have some thoughts on era but dont have a clue on how to address the whip data vs the rest
