I was wondering if someone could take the time to help explain the spread sheet to me. I am very interested and I am new here. I would appreciate it greatly

Yankees/Texas rained out. It will be made up as part of a double-header tomorrow. Check your pitching matchups later tonight...

Oh ye of little faith. Jays/Cle just went over, however to have enough faith to get the Drays over we best have Oral Roberts.

Go to page 1 and read Pops first post.

I've been hanging around his threads for over 1/2 a year now and I don't receive his spreadsheets or anything else because I haven't helped. You have to be able to help out and post useful information.

GL and welcome.

ILMW post a thread highlight readme file 2 per week, d/l on of those it's got all the key points from 200 pages of posts, would be the same thing that i would post in an answer trying to explain everyting and would take me a few days. no time. the pdws is a "pitcher data work sheet" with the key era and whip data for the next day schedule, and is the basic for putting all of our info together

lol, it's not because you dont help, it cause you cant understand them. we keep you around for two reasons, because we love you, and for disinformation. i dont think anyone in the world could track what and how you play, and i love that, adds a touch of confusion, which i love

Star-Telegram is saying Millwood has a sore hamstring and if unable to go today will be replaed by Mike Wood. Wood is 27 and in 4 triple a starts in April went 22 innings giving up 7 runs of which 5 were earned and had 4 walks and 21 strikeouts. GL

Thursday May 3rd

morning all

i see geppi was up early this morning as all the updates and notifications have been sent. sorry about missing the other root user play. i'll check to see how far along the real root user is.

i didnt see any possible plays for today last night, but all the lines were not up yet, plus need to check to see if my info on the DH in tex was correct. i was also told that there was a change in some ump assignments etc, so need to check those out as well, could be some good opportunities on a game or two

back in a few

that's better. still waiting for the official pitching announcements etc, and will send out the updated pdws as soon as they are available

right now doing a bunch of work on the wa nps and holly fuck etc. yes couple of areas are w/l over 80% but that useless as it's not linear progression. a zero need to be a 50/50 coin flip (unless major factors could contribute to the over or under) and a plus six should be mo better than a plus to on the over, and same goes for a -6 vs a -2

but considering how well the data is at this time of the season, and how effective it has been for a capping tool, you cant bitch too much, but still the summary should point to specific games that need to be looked at vs all the games etc. yea i'm lazy but wtf are computers for

plus the most important factors are not even generating numbers net, the 30 and 45 day scoring avg's

that's about it for not, back with breaking news when it happens

later

mlb and donbest are posting millwood, but someone posted that he wont go and that it will be mike wood. i'm assuming wood. no number yet, but both of these games look like potentially very high scoring games. sure would love to see some 9 numbers thrown up on them. we should know shortly

Over tonight in game 2 of the Tx/Nyy dblheader looking strong. Note the day/night scoring split in Texas on the new ballpark runs day/night pivot table in the spreadsheet.

He is supposed to go but has some soreness in his hamstring and will basically be a game time decision.

I suspect Sosa will skip the 1st game and play the 2nd but will have to wait on the lineups.

My book will not put the games up for another 1/2 hr but if he puts a line up on the Rangers I will bet NY if it is -150 like the paper has, or thereabouts.
