Pops,
what do you do with a play like this?
line number 5 on the Pops summary supports an over and has the holly fucccck backing it up bigtime, but the average runs scored in the daytime at this park supports a under. What does a person do? Is this another case of you should just pass on the game and wait for everything to back a play up or take a shot?
thanks
cd

i've watched almost all of there games this year, and they are really hitting like shit. no spark from the batters, pitchers are doing there share but it take both, last night was a great example of that. mbb says that clown at 3rd base, TB highest paid player is not worth a shit, they need to get him out of the line up. those big numbers 10- 11 need contribution from both teams batting, look at yankeees yesterday score 10 runs and game stay's under the 11-. but sure cant take the under in either case

CD:

You may want to check your #'s as the D/N split supports the over. Check on the Day/Night tab line 56

PC

Thanks for heads up.
I just checked the average runs for that ball park and it does indeed support a over. I was looking at the wrong line of the sheet.
thanks again

Pops taught a lesson some posts back about keeping a tab on the humidity with games, and how he checks approx 15 minutes prior to the game starting. Humidity can change fast so just take it into consideration.

What the best way to use holy fck? Am I right to assume that is the combination of all the info re the total?

Yup and it almost always changes during the game.

the lower the humidity, the better it is for a possible over, unless both pitchers are FAST BALL PITCHERS, than the rule does not apply, as it's more about location

Sin,
the way i have read about the holly fk is a minus number supports a under play and a plus number supports a over play. the higher the better.

p.s. what do you mean my clouds are gay as hell? lollllllll

Pops,
what pushed finally you on the over tampa last night, when the ump was a bigtime under ump? Did you just feel the data would overcome the umps bias in the game?

Here's an easy example:
Marquis vs Pitt.
8/13/06 6 inn, 2 runs
4/17/06 8 inn, 1 run
9/14/05 6 inn, 4 runs

Snell vs Ch. Cubs
8/28/06 5 2/3 inn, 5 runs allowed
8/6/06 6 inn., 5 runs allowed
4/16/06 5 inn., 6 runs allowed

You can see that the Cubs should score 8-9 runs, while pitt should score 4-5. You also want r/l records to be + or at least =. Also, it is best to line this up with teams that are playing well (that would have made Houston a no bet on Sun)

i bet the prick b4 the ump (dumb fuck) cause i felt the number was going up higher, he did ring up a few batters in key spots that could have made the difference, but so many guys left on 2nd and 3rd on both sides, plus that clown falling down. did at least 1 person get called out at the plate as well. but TB bats are really cold

you aint kidding there, that one should have went over for sure even with the under ump. Hopefully games like that balance out by seasons end and the breaks go our way on some of them.

pops....busy day going here at work. But, I wanted to bring up a in game piece of information that I picked up yesterday watching the Oakland-Boston game. The annoucers had a graphic showing the top 5 highest per games strikeout umpires in the league last year (minimum 25 games) of the top five they show, "E" and "H" were two of the top five. Reliaford was also in that group as well as he was behind the plate for oak-bos. Point being....strikeouts have any part in total as everyone knows that the higher the k's the bigger the strike zone and I wonder if the opposite is true as well. Did not know if anyone has looked into this angle. I will look into to it later on tonite.

Someone may have already noticed but the first 3 columns of the PDWS are from yesterday.

I use satellite internet and I just got put on probation for using too much bandwidth. I am cruising below dial up speed, excuse me while I go and torture my cat.

go to statfox.com, they do a very good breakdown on the ump for that day and have all kind of detail records.
