no diff that the normal whip just the sum of the two starters so if you got 1 pitcher with a .500 and the other pitcher with a 4.500 the game whip is 5.0. the real purpose of that pivot is to see if ov/un umps have any effect on the game totals vs just using whip ov/un alone
also double click on any of the numbers in the O or U col eg 4 has one over, if you double click on the number 1 a new spreadsheet will open showing you the game and both pitchers and there home and away era used for april
I know you said you would never play against E, but 6.5 is ridiculous for a day game in SD....Livan is NOT a great picture...his numbers are very good this year...but if I can get a 6.5 I will be on the over
I love the drill down-it is like magic. Looking at that game that takes me back to my original question-Santana has a whip of 1.1 which translates to a 2 and McCarthy a whip of .965 which translates to a 1, for a total whip of 2.65 or combined whip of 3. I guess what I'm asking is is there some kind of conversion table or something that will tell me whip A and whip B are worth x and y respectively...sorry if I'm being thick...
fyi, i just got a ball from mbb, wanted to go out for some r&r when he get's off work. i told him i was considering the ov on that game, and he's comments were, felix is phomonial (how ever it's spelled) so maybe not as easy as i thought
he allowed 3 runs in the 1st inn and motioned to the dugout. apparently, it's his elbow. his ball control was all over the place....24 pitches in 1/3 inn.
these players all must not keep in shape in the winter anymore, cause i cant remember the last time i have seen this many injuries at the start of the season.
I think its becuse of all the million these guys now make, they just take the game for granted and dont bother staying in shape in the offseason.
They all wanna be like Pops and party every night.

almost done with the pdws for tomorrow, less than a hour, assuming no more calls etc
steroids build body mass. but, if taken properly, body mass won't be very noticeable. the biggest benefit from being anabolic is recovery. throw harder with fewer days rest, less injuries during the long season, etc.
