I attend 40+ games in Milwaukee and left field is east. The only sun that can affect players is as sun going down in the west and come through the big windows affecting 3rd, short and left field. The batters have no problem with sun at all. just fyi

so your saying it's not a hitters but a fielders problem? so at what times of day could that be, worse case" or should we just sratch this one off of our list. This was on park that i was told that they (odds makers) take into consideration for day games.

Pops,

Center field is somewhat SE with batters in the NW. Day games when roof is open the sun is high so it does not affect the batters at all. Since opening I cannot rember Miller park not being a hitters park. You were right about the left side for fielders. Usually afternoon games start at 1 central. Maybe in the late innings there could be some shadows for the hitters. But late innings as sun is lower it does come right through the windows and could affect those mentioned in the field. Hope this helps.

tks kid, sin cross it off out list, other than roof open or closed, and still would love to get their humidity records etc. i'll try to get more detail info from the odds guys the next time he stops over. working on a bbq for him and a few others, here at the ranch, in the coming weeks

did some searching through the mil. journal sentinel.

I found an article from 2004 and it stated this:

"The Brewers have played enough day games at Miller Park with the roof open to know what's facing them in the late going. With shadows moving across home plate by the fourth inning and the pitcher's mound shortly afterward, it becomes increasingly difficult to pick up the spin of the baseball at the plate."

dont know if this answers anything

dont forget guys the pdws which i posted is the data that we'll all be using in the 2007 spreadsheets, so if it's wrong or has any errors were using bad data. so if you see anything that does not look right let us know so that i can get it corrected

today's whips in column w and y appear way too high and tuesday's era numbers in column v and z were incorrect.

Same here. One book graded it a win another called it "no bet" . I just got got off the phone with the "no bet" guy and brow beat him into crediting the win.

I, however, think he was correct in his original call.

i believe those yesterday were wrong Total WHIP should be the sum of the WHIP's for each pitcher, not divided by two. error in the old master that are still being used in the wild by those collecting data

for thoes getting the sheet from capn.

I suggest you track proj margin of victory. (especially on the road teams)

There are a couple of numbers that are killin it.

Stl was a play today and is now 5-0 for the year,(60% from last year until now.)

There are a couple of more numbers that are better,(even a 70%'r)

but its more fun if you can find those yourself, makes it all more worth it

Your local will prob Grade the Unders no action and Over losers tho...rotten bastards been known to make out in that scenerio...had a local get busted once and collected from losers but told winners all their info was confiscated...

Good stuff JB, I will add Milw. (at their normal start time) to my 2-5 local start games I am tracking for shadows..Thanks. If you bet that Cards total with a local, ask him if you can add it up with your Wsox over from last night...8 runs pushes it over. (offshore won't allow this fyi)

i believe more money was on the over in that game vs the under, so most would be happy with using that info above. but they sure could adjust the payouts like you say, which rots. none of my bets on the un were at any of the casino here, so have no clue how they graded it. i check with the sports book manager tomorrow moring at breakfast

fuck no. i'll be a philly fan till the day i die. i even set up a slingbox onto the basement tv at my parents so i can still get all philly stations on my computer and can watch phillies games on comcast.

i do plan on going to baseball games this year, but won't really be rooting for anyone unless philly is in town. though i might root for the chisox a little since they're local and not in the NL. but fuck the cubs.

no chance we get Durant. we're winning too many games. we'll probably have the 4-6 pick. at that spot i think we target Acie Law. at least i hope. but knowing the 6ers they'll draft a stiff like Noah or some european we've never heard of who'll suck.

I can see it now, with the sixers 6th pick, they select, Igor Sukinski.

jesus if you saw the beaver i saw in the hospital today you wouldn't want it to go anywhere with you. i'm slowly starting to realize that i don't really like sick people.

I am sure their is nothing worse than seeing some old stinking beaver with a urine tube sticking out of it, mmmm.
