i assume that everyone got the 2007 mlb beta spreadsheets. they sure must be easy to understand, havent seen any questions on there use

I haven't looked too much either, a little overwhelming, especially if the data isn't good for another month. pops, what are you doing currently if your not using this data, just the line moves or what? maybe a quick course on where to begin and how to use the data, mlb101, not in any huge detail, but a here's what you should look at etc. just a thought, but i think there are no questions because very few have a grasp of this yet.

I noticed last year that they only post the Cubs totals right before the game, probably because of the wind always changing direction so much from day to day and hour to hour at that stadium.

Wind almost always blows in off the lake on cold days. Like today... about 1 hr before the game, the wind came out of the west blowing straight out to center field... but that was rare, by game time, the wind came out of the lake and blew straight in from Right Center field. Crazy isn't it? But you can count on the lake wind effect, especially on cold days like today.

your not going to get any bargins on that line for tomorrow, i told daw early this morning that he would be behind the plate on Tues in florida, and the odds makers knew it as well as he's one of the two umps that they take into consideration b4 they post the lines. so figure it will already be adjusted for him when it come out, and then it will get bet down again from penny, than the rest of use will get a shot on tue morning with no bargins available
