So earlier this morning, around 3AM, I was dead tired and heading to bed. I had this sudden urge to make a few plays before I went to bed on early games so when I woke up they'd be in-progress and I could follow them. So for some reason, I made the biggest baseball bet on my life right then and there.... and I put it on the Reds -170. Looking OK so far, but man, what was I thinking?!
I do have a question for you guys though; the Cubs ML was EVEN earlier this morning and the Brewers ML was -120. I woke up this afternoon and the Cubs ML closed at +102 and the Brewers ML closed at -112. Both lines improved in favor of the bettor... how is that possible? And why would it possibly have happened?

There's going to be a lot of "No Action" bets for people that selected "Carlos Silva must throw the first pitch". I just placed my bet on the Sox and I didn't select that option but I did select "Javier Vazquez must throw the first pitch".
Good chance this game gets called off before it even starts or during the actual game. We're expecting snow here in Chicago. Not as bad as Cleveland, but it might be enough to stop the game.
