Honestly, I don't like Ichiro being the leader of our team because he doesn't lead our team. I got to know a lot of the guys on the team while I working with Fox Sports last season, and nobody feels like they can step up to lead the team because of Ichiro. He's a great player but he's not going to take us anywhere.
Pops always likes this sort of talk. Patience with this baseball stuff let some numbers fall into play. You end up the season with the best and follow that into this year. Last year this spread sheet really did not get rolling until middle to to the end of May. I was in Vegas last year middle of May and in regards to a new born child this spread sheet was still in the womb.
thanks for sharing this info. i've always been a fan of ichiro and enjoy watching his unique game. seeing how he is so revered in japan i should have known that he would be more about himself than about the team. it seems like most great athletes these days are treated like they are some sort of god and thus end up very self centered.

i agree with ctp, i'm done with nba other that any plays i pick up from "the rick" season is ending for many of them so you just dont know
