Since we do not have any 2007 data is it worth it in these early days of April to refer to the Pops mlb2006 master? Some nice trends on the oubyline tab for april

I never made it so much of a point as this year to notice the umps, so I never noticed this before-how late before the first series of a game do we usually know who the ump is? -6 hours before game time, no one knows who the ump will be?

OT - you guys are doing yourselves a huge disfavor by not using matchbook sportsbook. wsex is behind it so they are financial stable, no problems with limits or delays because you are not betting against the book per se, and most importantly, I was able to take every NBA 2H play last night at plus instead of minus 110 or 105. basicaly pinnacle type odds or better.

i wish. i'm moving out to chicago tomorrow so i won't get to go to many phils games this summer. but i do plan on catching them at wrigley.

some of them are worth looking at. eg day night the best, and emps as well. rest needs to come from the pdws. othere than those i dont give much value to past history to project today

Umps are announced at same time as starting lineups - an hour+- before game time.

Matchbook is very good. Issue I have with them is how to get money in/out. Used them quite a bit in the past.

true. cannot believe there is no western union or moneygram, so impossible to fund anonymously, but the savings to the bank roll are so huge still worth the trail. I sent a wire.

yes, but none of us or the avg joe. a couple are monitored so few have some advanced info. the rest of us will pick it up an hour or so b4 the game starts.

a few of the old timers will start checking usa.com and mlb.com is the easiest, sometime one faster than the other

yeah, I have been checking on and off today. Did not know it was not out until an hour before game time.


This is just for fun--I'm a big fan of the first inning run prop. so fwiw--

Looking at run scored in 1st inning prop. -110 yes, -120 no at greek.

Baseline is teams score in 1st inning 33% of the time, 54% of all games have a run scored in the first inning.

At new Busch, run was scored in first inn 61% of the time last year (49-31), 63% at night (33-19). Night games in April at busch 71% (5-2). Carpenter gave up a run in the first inning at home last year 65% of the time (11-6), but glavine was 41% (7-10). NYMets also were one of the teams that scored in the 1st inn more often, 38% of the time (62-100).

When the mets played at STL last year the only time a teams scored in the first inn was in g3 when stl scored. Also, when the O/U line is 7.5 the % in April is 38% (11-18).

This is the only relevant info that deviates from the baseline. As soon as I know the ump I can give the numbers for that ump. right now I am not betting this but if it ends up being a good ump I might.
