1st fish in the barrel is:

Apr 1- 8 Nick Fantana
Apr 9-15 Belichick Fan (moved from 3rd to 2nd)
April 16-22 Sub3Boston (moved from 1st to 3rd)
April 23-29 Bill dilideaux

from this point on geppi will be handling all the scheduling, and he will notify those that are schedule for may. if you do confirm back to him that you received the info and can comply, you will just be dropped from any further updates. If you cant handle 5-6 hours in one week i dont need your help or the aggravation doing any re schedules etc. shit or get off the pot

the 1st two already know this but the person that is doing pdws for that week will also send copies of these sheet to the next person on the list so that they can be trained and ready when there week starts

i moved from third to second, i was always a better hitter in the number two spot anyways.....i can't wait for baseball for two reasons one to watch the japanese phenom Dice-K and two when baseball comes footballs right around the corner.....

gl to all this year, last time i'll say it as i'm helping out the process...ps I used to be BF, now i'm a mudder....no nore joking i'm already to participate an help the process...gl all...

were making progress, but nick is using open office so were are having a few issues. be advised to those out there not using office 2007, you might want to try looking at the pdws now, copy of the latest is in the link below, try it now and work out the bugs before your turn in the barrel

Paps, I was looking at the spread sheet and noticed the pull down for home team and visitor team was not working, or maybe there was nothing to select or maybe I don't know what I am talking about.

for those that will be collecting data, you need to make sure you go the the below link and d/l the mlb schedules. once you know when your schedule to take data, you can just pull up the dates and start all the daily schedules using these the casino rotation numbers and have 90% of your info done way before it your turn to shine.

having these schedules printed out so that you can write in them will help with some key areas that i'm unable to collect data automatically

Col F: Series Game number
Col J: HP Ump 1st game of a series, plus once you figure out where to find that info, you will than be able to write down the HP umps for the rest of the games in that series
COL AC thru AG. I always found it easier to just copy the info into my casino books from donbest and than type them into my spreadsheets vs going back and forth on the computer screen etc.

so keep this link handy. during the season i dont leave home w/o them

http://theswami.com/schedules/index.shtml

p.s. the only thing i'm still looking for is a solid source for all of us to use to pick up the opening lines. Not sure if don best put those on the odds page for the schedule

RX live odds page is good for openers. Just have to check and make sure they don't throw Pinny lines in there when they are down.

Did you read my post on the last page about pitcher info?

Pops,
Quick not about the pitchers.
Did we ever go through and verify all those. Because as I was tweaking the sheet to adjust the pull-downs I had to move all the pitchers to a team. Some of the pitchers on the list didn't have a team listed with them at all. So I just want to make sure that we have all the up to date pitchers as best we can prior to Opening Day. I don't know if we determined a uniform place to look for them but at this point I think the list is incomplete if not wrong in some cases. I was more concerned with the logistics than the accuracy at that point.

Good we have two sources for Opening lines for the PDWS, so use either the Rx or Don Best, which ever comes up first

OK while Pops is gone I am gonna ask a question about the PDW ss. Column D is called ROT. What does ROT mean? Is it rotation #? Each team is assigned a number so I do not understand. OK flame away the dumb shit.

Rest of the PDW is starting to come in focus though!! :lolBIG:

Also, I made the lists large enough for up to 15 pitchers per team. If we add more than that to a list they won't show up. If you think we may have more than that on 1 team we should probably add the extra cells now. The only thing it does is leave a few more blank spaces in the pull-down for that team if they aren't filled up. Let me know.

You're right. In baseball they are called "game #".

Pops, you might want to consider using CRIS for opening lines. In my fall business I find them to be very dependable.

I would love to get involved with you in the MLB season, but have some shit coming up, so I can't commit to do things in a timely fashion, however from June until Sep. I should be able to devote the needed time.
