An MRI confirmed the strain, and Logan is expected to miss two or three weeks. The Nationals will move Ryan Church to center field and go with Kory Casto as their primary left fielder. The offense should benefit from the change. The defense will suffer

Pops.....good site here for you>>>>

Pops.....wish I could help on a daily basis with any spreadsheet or tips. But, having a business that seems on the verge of getting super busy will not allow me the time to help consistantly. Here is a website that I do not know if you have or anyone has come across. It is Baseball Reference.com.......and after searching through the site for some useful stuff that may be pertinent information, I found after browsing a way to access data for any team vs any team for any period of time. An example and a link will be below. I want to help out in anyway that I can, and this is all I can offer right now.

http://www.baseball-reference.com/games/head2head.shtml

with this link you pick any team from the pull down menu, as well as the year span you want. Once it gives you the breakdown of all the teams that you chose, the goto the right of each team and click onto games. The next page will give you breakdown of all the years in the query as well as the scores, dates, home/away and box scores. No information relavant to handicapping, but results home/away are definately priceless.

Here is and example of Boston vs. Cleveland for 2000-2006:

I'm looking at the Padres (Peavy) @ Giants (Zito) and I see that the under 7.5 is +115 at Bodog. The game is being played in a pitcher's park and we're seeing two very solid pitchers facing two non-explosive offenses.... what am I missing? I'm inclined to take the under especially at +115, but I have to ask if I'm missing anything.

fwiw

peavy has a career 4.61 era for day games (3.10 era at night).

zito always starts slowly and has a career 5.04 era during april(3.55 career era).

last year 62.5% of day games at at&t park went over and day games in april went 5-2 over.

Also the Pads should have huge motivation as you know they want to beat Bochey who was the Pads manager last year

the popsummary for the master is finished, and will be included with all the spreadsheet updates. the example below is just a snap shot of the working sheet, but the only thing that will need to be done is copy the pdws info into col A, E, I, V and Z and it will give you a summary of the team home and away along with ump info as well. the green areas indicate 60% or more overs and the red 40% or less unders. you can than use these summarys to dig deeper into the game details using the pdws as well as the pivot tables for detail data

I'm taking the Giants/Padres u7.5 (+120) at Bodog. I see a very low-scoring game. Not much to go by except feel. Neither one of these two offenses impresses me nor do I see both pitchers struggling. Two primed aces that both have a chip on their shoulders this year.

BTW, hope everyone did well in the NCAA tourney. I loved it this year, easy year. Since the Elite 8, as some of you know, I went 12-1. My only loss was UCLA +4 vs. Florida. I want to thank Joah Kim Noah for being the asshole that he is. He cost me a lot of money in my tournament bracket pools. I had all the Final Four teams except Florida because of how much I hate him. I had Wisconsin beating them and then losing to UCLA in the Final Four. Then I had OSU beating Georgetown and losing to UCLA in the Championship. If I had just ignored my personal feelings for Noah and realized how good the team really was, I wonder what could've been.... ah well.

Funny thing is, I went back to Bodog looking for the "Will There Be A Run Scored in the 1st Inning" prop bet and it was too late. I wanted to put a little dough on Yes (+140) as I had this weird feeling there would be at least 1 run scored in the first and then no more than 3 or 4 the rest of the game. 1-0 Pads in the 1st.
