Would like to hear how some of you use the great amt. of data we have, i.e. d/n, l/r, h/a, umps, humidity, whip, era, and the list goes on and on.
Do you treat all categories the same when breaking down a game, or do you assign weighted avgs. to some? How do you decide which columns to use and which to ignore? A see a real possibility of "analysis paralysis." Welcome any and all comments.

jj i use it as a tool in deciding which plays look attractive. I check the pdws and wa_nps mostly and do check the humidity and line move data. I don't use it exclusively to make plays, just part of the decision making process. I also look at line moves, streaks, schedules, umps. etc. I bet sides too, not just totals. Probably 70% totals, 30% sides

Swept the D-Rays with +180 on the side, that turned the day around, very nice.

i'll be around for at least 4-5 hours

rather be lucky than smart. i went over all the weather reports and toronto look like the roof was going to be open for the game. so based on that and mike's data on the game i went with the un 9-. just checking now it was closed. had i known that i would have bet the over and 2x more runs closed vs open

Pops I did the exact same thing, is mlb.com the only place to check out the roof status?

Unless the teams are hitting homeruns in that stadium, a ton of players get left on base.

so far only place i found that really reports it unless you know someone in toronto etc, i normally try to check the weather early, and did a hour by hour forcast and everything was coming up roses
