Tbone, why is it so difficult to get things like napkins here in nam? :think2:

Saw Halong Bay...another underrated and beautiful place here.

Heading to China tomorrow, so time to break out the wallet and buy a few gifts here in nam for the folks at home.

Pops, since they start young over here, wanted to inform you that you are a great grandfather here and your back child support payments have been forwarded to vietcong collections.

Dawoof,

In most parts of the English-speaking world, other than the United States, I think the word "napkin" means a Kotex pad.

That's probably why the waiter looked you over in a strange manner.

When the VC first came into Saigon after the war, to fight the smoke and smog, they'd ride around on their scooter bikes with the tampon in lieu of surgical masks. The tampon back then had a string on both ends that women used to tie it to another string that goes around their waists. Go figure.

Here's another one, they'd buy fresh fish from the market, and throw 'em in the commode waiting till dinner time to cook 'em. Guess what happened to those poor fish? Yep, just like the movie Finding Nemo. They escaped down the toilet. :missingte

Pops,The Indians over is done for tonight It seems like when it gets humid here the ball tends to fly out of Jacobs Field. Also the radio guys said that this ump is very tight with the strike zone just to let you know. Also are you doing anything with the Preakness Stakes on Saturday.Gravy

Pops you have mail. Please send a responce to both places.

fyi, i already have the pdws for tomorrow, i need to get everything updated and posted tonight, have a 6:30am mri tomorrow, at least all late games and we have everything but the weather

let me get to work on everything

2 runs out of boston, what power, and nice 3rd base coaching getting the runner out at the plate on that short hit to left field

i'll be around

below is my take on the use of all the data were putting together, and it was in reply to an email regarding not finding any easy answeres in the HF

i agree with everyone effort to try and find an easy pattern. there a bunch of data and all three of the key pieces are of equal importance.

1. the pivot tables
2. the holly fuck
3. the pdws
4. weather
5. umps

i not sure that there is an easy way of just getting a bet only decision using only one of those pieces

i use all of them, and when i try to take short cuts, it costs me

i dont think we should stop trying, but if it's not there, i'm not going to try and force it.

mlb was good to me last year, and is doing very well this as well. hell i put in as many hours an anyone, they only way to stay on top and keep winning is by using every piece of info you have available

the longer the season go on, more patters and opportunities will show up, but right not using all the tools is the only game in town.

ok, back to work

-2 1/2 plays are going well. Monday, went 2-3 +220 on $100 plays. Cumulative 2 day total is 4-5 +$545 for Sunday and Monday.

I am playing these at 5 dimes and think I have something that could be good. Anyway, column AB PDWS plays made a profit but when dipped below 60% I cut it loose. Something similar will apply here. Looking for a 20%r.o.i. and well above that in the early stages of course.

Tuesday plays:
PHilly -2 1/2 runs +270 Milwaukee
NYM -2 1/2 runs +240 Chicago Cubs
Houston -2 1/2 +255 SF
Colorado -2 1/2 +285 AZ
LAD -2 1/2 +240 St. Louis
TB -2 1/2 +220 Texas
Seattle -2 1/2 +280 LAA

Good luck if you are playing along.

Well, not over but looking ugly but plus money if it stays like this. Will update in the morning if it changes. 2-5 +$20. I guess that is part of the beauty. You can win 28.6% of your games and come out ahead.

3 day Cumulative totals 6-10+$565 assuming Seattle and LADodgers do not implode.

Not sure how you guys feel about baseball, but I was in heaven today at SafeCo. Perfect weather, great ballgame (i.e. Mariner win), good food, bought a scorecard and kept score for the first time since I was 14 at the KingDome, made money on the over... Nothing like a transcendent game to purify the soul or some shit.

Anyway I've got my Mariners spreadsheet down to a science but don't want to overload Geppi with my stuff so I'll personally e-mail out my Results SS for the day to whoever might want them. Just e-mail me at mike16437 at comcast dot net and let me know if you want it. I'll be sending it out either before I become unavailable for the day with a guess at lineups or I'll send it out once the Umps and Lineups show up at USAToday.com.

Goodnight and GL

you guys need to stop focusing so much on wind and umpires. These things are hardly ever relevant and you should pay much more attention to the pitcher/offenses/bullpen and stadium. Wind is basically only a factor in games at wrigley field and the line reflects that.

This looks good

As stated earlier, games where CLOSING total is 9.5 or 10 have been going UNDER. Record on unders now 87-57 (7-0 last two days). Would like to see someone backfit this for previous years.
