Open another account. No big deal. Also, bank does not question incoming wires. Complete bullshit, now if it was coming from Libya or one the countries on AFAC (forget the exact name) list different story. This is like a chick jerking you off, means well but complete waste of time and utter bullshit. $3000 limit is crap and people wonder why I would fly to vegas nearly every weekend in the fall. This is a perfect example why. Guy has given them money and gets jerked around.

you are of course wrong.....but how could you not be , its not like you work on our side of things. the limits are normally not imposed by a book, they use something called 'processors' (I know you know I am just acting like obama with the aircraft carrier /bayonet deal) which are 'hard' to find these days for obvious reasons, they can impose whatever limits they want

as far as bank wires go, processors know about problematic banks by simply hearing complaints from their customers that whine like their mother just died because 'bank x closed my account for gambling wahhhhhh' so they are trying to prevent more whining episodes

a bank these days can question anything they feel like questioning and of course they have the right to shutdown any account without giving any explanation

a book like bookmaker doesnt have to jerk anyone around , its not like they are short of cash (for example)

I am not familiar with processors and how that aspect works, but I can tell you that BOFA, HSBC or Citi aren't worried about 1 wire transfer into this guys account for $50K. Seriously? There is no issue with a wire and most INTL wires use BofA and Citi as their intermediares.

Why does it seem that some big name books are all of a sudden being unreliable? Across the street BTJ is complaining about a 5 Dimes payout. Another thread on SBR is complaining about Carib. What the hell is going on out there?

In that I can't get my money out in a timely manner and am going to have to accept their 8 check method over 4 weeks time I asked them to at least remove the withdrawal amount from my account so that I can be sure to not risk this money. Yes, I have self control but I would like to lock away this money as though I were able to make the full withdrawal. Anyway, I emailed them about this yesterday and asked them to at least remove the withdrawal amount, no answer to my email and the money is still in my account. Frustrating!

i've done the debit card thing, after about 5K they shut mine down and mailed me a check
5D eliminated bank wires from what they are telling me, and aside from 1 free withdrawal if you request Monday between 9AM-1PM EST and have no withdawal requests from 30 days prior, you have to pay $80 for a 3K withdrawal (once every 7 days).

also being told there is a deposit into a bank debit card as well between 100-2500, $40 fee for 1000-25000 range.
haven't done this option before (only the fedex check option), anyone have experience with this, any red flags to be aware of?

If they won't wire the money to your bank and want to send checks for "x" amount every so many weeks, why not have them Western Union or Money Gram the money to you? It says on their w/d page max fee $150 but doesn't say the max you can cash out. Depending on the processor they use to wire the money it can be costly but $600 is extremely high.

What I would do is call your banks customer service and ask if they stopped taking transfers in from where ever they are coming in from. You can easily look online at your bank statement to see who the intermediary was that acted on behalf of the processor. It typically goes from book to bank to processor to bank to you. Everyone gets a piece of the action as it moves forward and you get the end result.

I spoke to the general manager who was a lot more polite and reasonable than the VIP clerks I had been dealing with. I ended up opening a new checking account at another bank and I have requested they send the bank wire. Bookmaker told me a wire to another bank would be no problem. I will update if/when it comes through.

The limits on WU or MG were very small so bank wire was my only option accept for the 8 checks over 4-5 weeks...
