Didn't like either guys, but Norm is a piece of shit. Franken is new blood at least.

Didn't vote for either, voted Independent Barkley.

Didn't think he'd pull it off though.

I give credit to Minnesotans. Not afraid to think outside the box when it comes to politics. At least one state in this nation thinks somewhat apart from the sheep.

If gas bags like Jerry Springer and Jesse Ventura can get elected to public offices, so can this PoS.

Minny has always been a liberal state. Also one of the most educated states in the nation. I do plan to leave the United States someday, but I do consider Minnesota to be apart of Canada moreso than the US. There is more Canadian way of life and morals here then in the rest of the US. Close proximity to Canada and high morals are main reasons why we are more like Canada then the US.

Agree, IMO they are all dipshits, but it stirs the pot a little and should keep the voters on their toes for future elections.

Why would you leave the U.S.? Not saying it is good or bad, just curious.

I see nothing but disaster here. I pray every night for Obama, for if he doesn't turn it around nobody will. I did make a proclamation to leave by the time I attained my Masters in 2010, but I'm going to ride it out with Obama. Bush destroyed the engine, the morality, and the character of the nation. If Obama cannot stop that downward trend, then it'll mean the end of the United States. This is the guy you want though in Obama to rebuild America.

I'd prefer to move to a more conservative nation where I can survive on my own instead of stand in line for bread like I see in the future years if Obama can't turn it around. Personally prefer to live away from people, at least American people.

Interesting. I agree that the U.S. needs an overhaul, if not a quadruple bypass. I hope Obama can get it done. I didn't vote for him, but I guess I will support him for the good of the country. He can't do any worse than the f'cking moronic primate in office now.

Democrats did the same thing in Washington. Keep counting until you win.

I'm not understating this when I say our lives are on Obama rebuilding America. America cannot last 4 more years at the rate of decline it's been having without being taken over by someone else or just destruction from within(civil war/riots what have you).

Equate the president to the head coach of the football or basketball team. He(Bush) was letting people control him instead of being poised, confident.

Bush then gave out that defeated image to his fans(America) which then depressed them and gave them no hope and a defeated outlook on life.

Now we get a new coach(Obama). We are all excited and reinvigorated(fans of the team, america). Will Obama lead us to victory(team, nation), or keep us in neutral(team, america).

All that is for sure is a change needed to be made. Who knows what the result of the change will be.

How exactly does this square with "Marxist society would be heaven"?
Or have you had a change of heart?

Id prefer to live with people among me. High character, high morals, look out for other people instead of just myself but that isn't possible in America, which is why I said I'd prefer to live in a secluded area with few people if I had to stay in America.

I can't stand Franken. He's a whining liar. Should fit right into Congress.

Franken is a failed comedian who will be so out of place in the senate that it might revive his career as a comedian. He should provide comic relief, like many former Minnesota wannabees.

1) Howard Stassen boy mayor, who ran for president about 6 times and became a laughing stock

2) Mondale who only won 1 state against Reagan's 49

3) That wrestler who's name escapes me, what in the world were they thinking electing a governor who's claim to fame was making big bucks in a fake sport.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!
