95% of the OLYMPIC HOCKEY GAMES, HOCKEY PLAYOFFS, etc., etc., are about as good as it gets in being a spectator for me personally.

Exactly, such a shame we have to endure such a long regular season. I know they have to pay the bills, but NHL would be spectacular with a 40 game season and then the playoffs. Start around the end of the NFL, would do wonders for the fan base.
