Doesn't matter about the size of the bet, I can handle it if she is in the room. But my one game a week in the NFL (don't laugh the Lions) she has to be out of sight for me or I will get irriatated and annoyed very easily. Can you watch a HUGE game whether it be a big bet (ok in my case) or just your favorite team with significant other with you, not me I have to concentrate and be left alone the ENTIRE game.

Seems like women always want attention when they see your mind is on anything but them. Almost seems like they hate to see anything but them bring a man the slightest bit of enjoyment, know what you mean Ice Man.
:sad3:

Say, is the Ice Man name cuz you like Chuck Liddell?

YES, quite easily in fact.
I guess more as a fan, would you want her in the room with you if your Hawkeyes played in National Championship game and were tied with 2 minutes left in game?

sorry didn't know that one. Actually after 2-3 years just lurking everyday on here I decided that I would post and thought for about 15 minutes before I rembered their was a handicapper on Detroit Sports Radio, back in the day named the Iceman that I thought was entertaining . Couldn't think of anything else at the time. Still debating if I am going to stick with it (my's well) but I never thought I would post this much, damn this stuff can be addiciting!!!

Yes. Definitely. I'd want to celebrate afterwards.

Once again you are giving most people here more credit then they deserve in assuming most of us have a female in our lives - or rather - one that is NON-inflatible

Yes but she knows the situation. It may be a while for a big game for me since NU has to bag Callahan and Pederson and get back to Husker roots--power football.

Never mind a whole game - how about a few minutes of peace when watching a big race.

I think it genetically passed down to women to annoy/irritate their man when he shows the slightest glimmer of enjoying himself.
