I can only think of 2 people in my inner-circle that are in the 30-40 range , 1 (male) has no kids 1 (female) does. Most of my inner circle is over 50 and most have adult children already on their own , so i dont have to worry about kids when i hang out with my peeps.
I remember when my wife and i were in our late 20's and 30's and would lose friends when they had kids. They would still send invitations for b'day parties and baby showers , but they quit going out to eat and getting together for games and hanging out. ...Oh well !

Yeah it kinda sucks when "life" causes changes in friendships. ...It didnt used to be this way in the 60's and early 70's , when i was a kid my parents were always going to parties and functions.
..But i think the difference is/was that my mother didnt work she was a housewife. Nowadays both spouses work and everybody is stressing and pms'ing.
It's sad. A friend since 2nd grade. His wife is a hardcore liberal and a lover of different species. She hates me. It has caused minor rifts. He plays the part when they adopt Ethiopians. I don't get it.

Most of my circle is kids free... a couple of my friends got greedy crazy bitches knocked up, and they have suffered more than gained... one even spent a day in jail for child support... for a **** that makes twice as much as money as him, is like 6 years older than him and fucked a buddy of his while still married.
