Cavs are playing by far the best basketball right now..

They have an awesome thing going right now with LeBron driving the lane and pushing it out to the wide open shooters, what team has the defense to stop that??? You're damned if you double team King James leaving great shooters open, and you're damned if you let him drive the lane and put your team in foul trouble or let him get an easy basket..

Orlando chokes away leads too much and I dont see them winning one game in Cleveland.. Boston without Garnett just doesn't have it.. I personally wouldn't be floored if the Cavs swept either Boston or Orlando or won in 5 games..

Now in the West, Lakers and Denver.. Lakers beat the Cavs twice this season and were the only team to beat them at home so obviously they have a shot but they have been playing a little inconsistentcy and who knows how much gas Kobe will have if they play a long series with houston then Denver..

Denver isn't good enough to defeat the Cavs..

What are your thoughts on this?

I thought that Cleveland was the team to win it all coming into the playoffs, and their play so far these first two rounds has done nothing to convince me otherwise.

I mean sure, Atlanta and Detroit aren't close to Denver or the Fakers, but the Cavs havent played a game yet that they didnt dominate from start to finish. The Celtics won it all last year after needing 7 games against more or less the same Hawks team in the first round that hasnt belonged on the same court- home or away- with Cleveland this series

I like Cleveland to win it all as well. I think Denver has the best shot against them and I think that would be the best finals matchup. Cleveland in 6 over Denver imo.

People are faulting the Cavs for their weak competition thus far in the playoffs, that is wrong.. Plus the Cavs have done nothing wrong, they havent lost a game nor have they really even been tested..

They are having too easy of time, while the other teams are stuggling.. Well Denver isn't struggling but I dont think they can beat em.. JMHO

obviously only lakers can beat cavs, only team with star scorer and solid rest of team, only way to compete, nuggs don't play team ball and u cant expect mello or chauncey to average and put up 30 pts a gm

orlando is stronger at 3/5 starting positions compared to clev, orl also has soem quality guys off the bench, if they can hit outside shots, they can beat Cleveland.

if you gauge potential champions by their esprit de corps, Cleveland has the most cohesive team chemistry of the teams in the playoffs, with Denver #2. That may or may not lead to the championship, but unlike the Lakers, Denver & Cleveland have played consistently well in the playoffs, & you can see how their benches react to great team play. Denver has been owned by LA in the playoffs, but this year should go to 7.

So I would agree that nobody will beat the Cavs.

With regards to the Lakers, I think they are unfairly getting written off because they came out flat for a couple games this series. Game 1 you could see that they thought they would just walk all over this team, which obviously wasnt going to be the case, and like Phil said, you have to give Houston props for how they played after losing their best player (happens in the NBA all the time).

So based on these two losses alone I can't say that Denver will beat LA. They are playing real nice ball right now, but let's not forget the Lakers dominated the first series against a solid Utah team and performed better against the Nuggets this season than probably any other team.
