Can you get a decent house in a nice area in Vegas for 100K?

I will be in Vegas next week. gonna check some things out

Area is good. What I've been told about North Las Vegas is that north of Craig is fine, north of Ann is even better (where this property is located).

The property is zoned for Thompson Elementary School (Greatschools Rating - 8), Escobedo Middle School (Greatschools Rating - 6), and Arbor View High School (Greatschools Rating - 6). You want to look at schools when looking at properties, especially homes.

In Toronto, you cannot even buy a GARAGE or SHED for 100K

So true we bought out house in 93 for 118k now places on my street going for 360+ i can sell mine easy for 380-400k

Yea that would be amazing! Even though I have free rooms @ hotels there lol I'd get one with a pool. Saw a few nice deal ones with pools.

Sorry but despite what some of the comments here are... I say it's not realistic. I live here and I had a Real Estate license as a broker for almost 40 years so I'm no novice. The key word is " Nice area " ! There are tons of houses available for $ 100,000 or less but not in the choice areas. I myself will soon be moving away from Las Vegas as this town will someday soon be a ghost town as the cry for water is already being heard in the background ! Just take a close look at Lake Mead ... It's fast becoming a sink hole.

It's logical for a new place to have the hot young nurses. You can't really fire Becky Boobs for just aging....so a Mirage aged joint will have 40+ types. They probably were hottest talent 20 years ago.
