Judge, I agree that persons residing in CR can bet but isn't there some obscure law that books actually operating in CR are not supposed to take bets from residents of CR? Naturally CR residents can play at books located in other countries but I seem to recall the law I mentioned above being passed at least 10 years ago. There is a distinct chance I am mistaken and also a chance that the law or policy whichever it is has been repealed. The other factor is enforcement of such a law would require an audit of a book's player base by the CR government something that would require some complicated legal maneuvering to accomplish.

its not so much of a law but a clarification issued by the "procuradoria" that says that if the money doesnt touch CR , the game action is outside CR and therefore not in conflict with the monopoly on gaming handled by the government
technically (this is what I always thought ) that would also mean that the $ cant be sent directly to CR (Which is also ignored all the time)

I would qualify that with if you sign up at the book with that CR address and they accept the bet then they should pay you. There is a possibility however slim that if you moved here with an existing account listing your address as somewhere in the US made one or more wagers and won then asked them to pay you at a CR address you might I emphasize the word might, run into a problem.
To be safe I would email the book with a change of address before making any wagers. Think about it, they look at your account with say a California address and now you all of a sudden want a withdrawal sent to you somewhere in CR. That would cause me to be concerned that an untrustworthy clerk or accomplice of an employee was trying to raid your account somehow..
