The Cub fans have no idea what is going on while dumping beer on the opposition as usual, Cards fans classy and knowledgable as always. Cards built a new palace, the Cubs play in a dump with 1 bathroom, lucky to have lights.

Totally wrong about the assessment of Cub fans. Are the White Sox fans better with a new stadium?

They seem to know just when to boo Milton Bradley and how to throw beer at the opposing outfielder. Classy? You might have a point there. But the portrait of a disinterested clueless crowd sitting on their hands not watching the game and leaving in the 7th inning really doesn't gel. Gotta go to LA for that.

its painfully obvious that the Cards are now the better team this year...i would never have thought it at the beginning of the year, but the loss of Derosa and addition of Bradley have really ruined the chemistry on the cubs...injuries have factored in as well, but this is just a lost year for the Cubs much to my dismay.....

I still prefer the history of Wrigley though, over the new ballparks.....they are nice of course, and offer much more creature comforts, but i'll take the Wrigleys and Boston stadiums still....

Of course Pujols is the best hitter between the 2 teams....although i would take Ramirez against any other player on either team..

Carpenter certainly the best pitcher this year between the 2......at one time harden was the best of them all, but i dont know that he'll ever get that form back.....

Im a cubs fan, so it would be idiotic to say anything but Cubs in that category

Harden has never been better than Carpenter.

Are Cardinal fans better than White Sox fans?
I think Cardinals fans are the best in the game. I'm biased because I love my Cardinals, but I really can't imagine a better place to play. The fans adore this team, and treat the players great from both teams. Guy on the opposing team makes a great play? He gets cheered. Other than Chris Duncan, they don't boo anyone. Where else can a player go 0 for 5 with 4 K's and not get booed? Only in STL. Fans are passionate, but with class. Even my brother, who is a die-hard Cubs fan, loves the atmosphere of Busch, and the way that he's treated while he goes there with Cubs gear. Think the fans are going to treat me with class in the bleachers at Wrigley? No.

The Cardinals are the only team to root for. I love them.

Plenty of Cards fans sit in the bleachers at Wrigley with no problem. Haven't been to the new Busch Stadium yet, but the old stadium sucked for baseball.

Fans in any city would boo a player who throws out the Race Card, St Louis included.

seems the CARDS do so much more with such less, STL really isn't that big of a market, it ranks with minnesota, cincy and KC, PROPS on getting it done against the BIG Market CUBS over and over again...

Cards made great moves. I'll stand by my stance of Selig/Reinsdorf messing this Cub ownership deal as much as the bad moves the Cubs made in the offseason.

cubs are horrible, fans (if you call them that) are clueless, ballpark is a dump, PBR tastes like my right foot ..... i'll give more proof when i start bumping the asinine comments from the cub fans on this board from earlier in the year.
