Can the Ducks beat the Red Wings in this series??? ORRRR do I just go balls to the wall and laugh at the 3/1 series price and go huge on the Wings??? :toast:

the ducks can definitely win this series. Their blueline is sickeningly deep and the getzlaf line looks dominant and Hiller has been very solid. Wings are a veteran team that knows how to win so I give them the edge but I wouldn't want to pay -300 on them in this series.

Suffice to say the line has moved in the direction of the
Ducks, being bet by the sharps. If you must play the
Ded Wings for the series, then i suggest -1.5 games at
Piny. Or in individual games use the PL {-1.5} or regulation
win lines {-0.5}. Otherwise parlay down the huge MLs
with the Lakers, Cavs, or something of that nature, that
are almost a lock.

I think Anaheim themselves said it best that the Sharks may have had the best record in the NHL but the Redwings are the best team in the league.

They will see that first hand because noway they beat the Wings and advance.

with osgood in goal for detroit & anaheim having the defense they have, the ducks definitely have a chance. detroit saw almost no offensive pressure from columbus until it was too late. anaheim has to jump on detroit early & win game 1. if they can win the first game it becomes a 50/50 proposition for the series.

I'm not playing this series but I think you have to respect that thre Wings are 3-1. It means the books will get little play on the Wings and also means the oddsmakers don't mind having money put down on Anaheim.
I think if you like the Ducks you are better off playing them to win one of the first 2 games in Detroit. If you win the first take your profit. Anaheim could win one of the games and still lose the series, so go for a quick profit. Ducks can't win the series unless they win one game ion Detroit anyway.
