I just don't see how Seattle is going to cover this game based on what I watched all season. Denver has too many weapons for Seattle D to cover and the fact Manning calls plays at the line, explain to me how man to man coverage is going to slow Manning down? I don't see how Seattle's offense is going to keep up with Denver scoring. Am I wrong to think this based on what I saw all season between both teams??

Both teams were good ATS. It's not a matter of playing against Manning. And I think that if you're basing a play on " I can't bet against Manning" well that is not the way to approach this imo. Good luck though.

I'm just saying Manning is one of the best in the league to read defense and will pick apart them.

you're only looking at den off vs seat def. Seatt offense dominates Denver D and will be the reason Seattle wins. As the game develops, you'll be saying " what the f? Denver cant stop shit. Wilson tearing them up running and passing. and whos this Percy kid? where he been all year? tearing Denver up on reverses"

Guess I think Denver's D is good enough to stop Seattle's D and can see a TO from Wilson

It was explained to you but if you dont want to accept it then there is no real point in trying to explain it further is there. Seattles played tougher ds all year and come thru but based on nothing but you guess, denvers D is good enough to do what most of them couldnt.

Seattle Offense is far from a high power offense...Denver defense is not a solid as Seattle but over valuing their offense..
Houston, Minn, Tampa all hung a over 20 pts each on this defense with mediocre QB's...Manning and two weeks to prepare, i like my chances...
Just my two cents worth.

This is fact. There were 5 Super Bowls with the number one Offense vs. the number one Defense. The number one Defense won four of the five games. I've always said, a good defense can stop a good offense. This is the time when the Smart Money starts coming in and the line has dropped at some off shores. I have other reasons in my thread, why I played Seattle. Good luck all.

The key to me is if Seattle can bring pressure on Manning in their base defense without blitzing. If they can't, Manning will eventually dissect them and their odds of victory are not good. Now if they can, then they have a very good chance of winning this game.

Nah, nobody gets pressure on Manning consistently, he gets rid of the ball way too quickly even when an O-Lineman gets beat right at the point of attack. The key to beating Manning is to get excellent jams on the WR's at the LOS to disrupt their timing, and force him into lower % throws to the outside or deep middle of the defense. Disrupting the routes could lead to sacks; not the other way around.

This, as well as Seattle's edge in turnover differential, lead me to believe that Seattle +2 is a solid value.
