Can someone explain PK,-1/2 line?

I'm thinking of taking Miami PK,-1/2 (+101) 1st half at 5 dimes.

My question is what does it mean? Can I lose on a tie?

I believe it means that half your bet is on pk and half is on -1/2..so if it is tied at halftime you would lose half your bet and push the other half

Unless you mean, you see Pk at one place and -1/2 at another ?? or the line is jumping from Pk to -1/2

the type of bet i explained is done on soccer at some books..I have never seen that type of bet in any other sport but by the way he explained it, that is what it sounds like

Easy Answer to the question.

Pk means that if it lands on a Tie at Half, it's a Push

and if you take the Minus 1/2 and it's all tied at half, You Lose.

There is actually an option for pk/-.5. A combined play... just like a soccer bet.
