the home run derby is a joke anymore just like the nba's slam dunk contest.the real contestants never get in it anymore.this is supposed to be for all the fans and these guys just ignore us,after all we pay to go see these bums the least they can do is compete for us in special events,or at least think about the kids who expect to see their so called idols and stars and get shut out cause these guys don't give back to the fans.pro athletes are a joke anymore,its all money and no partisapation
i have a feeling about Ortiz doing well in this...he has been so beleaguered the last couple seasons, and we all know he "has" the power...he wont have to worry about a lefty, or any breaking pitches, i think he might do good this year
