Can somebody give me a good reason why I shouldn't hammer under 7.5 Cubs/Cards?

With Arrieta on the hill, Cards may not even score. Seriously considering this for the LIMIT.

If you feel the Cards are not gonna score, why not just put the limit on the Cubs?

The Cardinals hitters are very disciplined and will look to wear Arrieta down by making him go deep into counts. If they can successfully do so and get Arrieta out of the game by the 7th or 8th, that could mean you are trusting the Cubs bullpen. Which can be a scary thing for under bettors.

Wacha has not faired well against the Cubs and has been less than stellar down the stretch. The Cubs could very well put up a six spot against him.

I am not trying to talk you out of it, in fact I tend to agree it's the right side here. Just a few things to consider before you unload your bankroll.

Good points Lexington. Still have a couple hours to decide. With Jake at .75 era in his last 18 AND this being a playoff game where he may throw 120 plus this just seems like it's the right spot to unload. Wind 15-20 blowing out to right field is also a factor.

Great point about the wind AlwayzRight. I would check back closer to the game to make sure that wind doesn't change. Could be a deciding factor for whether this game goes over/under.

Probably because the Cubs are -215 & the under is -125. Of course, Cards team total under 2.5 is -110.

Does anyone know if the Air Density Index of 63 will affect how well the balls carry. I don't know if this is a high number or if high or low index could lead to more home runs.

Saved on computer will check tomorrow when on it...NEVER BET UNDER @ Cubs when wind blowing out that strong and steady.. I don't care who is pitching as u saw tonight. Get the ball in the air with a good shot and it's gone..tomorrow it can be blowing in and you won't see a ball get to the warning track .. Only thing I have ever saw like it was the Ball Park @ Arlington before they remodeled. Wind would blow in circle around the stadium behind home plate and it was a launching pad to right field.

Damn, i wish i saw this thread yesterday. I got to the bars early here and didn't check the RX before gametime. I would've said NO NO NO....slam the OVER! You know that's a weird line when Vegas is supposed to set this line @ 5.5-6 with 2 great pitchers on the mound. Wind blowing OUT = HR heaven in Wrigley!!!! Don't make the mistake again.
