Can somebody explain the 2pt attempt for K State

I've been in this business for awhile. Can normally justify almost anything up to this point except for K state being tied and going for 2pt attempt. Somebody clarify this for me and if its justified...Ill venmo you $100. But it has to be justified and I agree.

The ball was snapped before the holder was ready. Ball bounced off the holder and the kicker picked it up. He couldn't kick therefore he was "justified" to try for 2.
