I am a stated Kerry voter and bettor.

Should he win, I would like to suggest to other Kerry posters the following:

It's easy to load your fingers to type profanities, "I told you so's", "Take four more years of THIS!"...to the big Bushies on this site. It feels like fun, like something you've been dying to do.

But MAYBE we could show more class than we would expect from them. Maybe as a token gesture of a few people, we can cross the aisle and say "I'm glad my guy won, but let's all hope for the best."

Countries are about their people. Fortunately, even the top politician in the land rarely makes our lives dramatically better or worse when seen through impartial lenses.

If Kerry wins, the Republicans will be back in power (JEB Bush?) in 2008 unless Kerry works well with Republicans and is seen as a reasonable President. If we are Americans first, I hope Bush supporters wish a Kerry Presidency well. Spite for him is spite for part of your future.

Petre:

No kidding ... and especially send it to Coulter and Hannity

Hey, I voted for Kerry ... I am not in love with the guy ... I just could not handle another 4 yrs of Bush and my vote, like many, is more a vote against Bush than my vote affair with what Kerry brings to the table

Sorry, that may be weak but I dealt with Bush in Tx as Governor and 4 yrs of him running the country ...TIME TO TAKE AWAY THE KEYS AND GROUND JUNIOR

I think Fox would be sober, but the ratings game is always present. They can't be venting and saying "God help us all." People don't want to watch a funeral. They will probably actually SEEM "fair and balanced" tonight if Kerry is winning.

Doc Mercer -

I feel the same way about Kerry AND Bush.

I think some polls, while reflecting that 40% of Kerry voters are really just anti-Bush, are yet understating that.

BUSH has effectively generated 68% of the votes, possibly 75%. Remarkable.

youre right on the money. I have been a dick head through much of this and i am not even that well versed in many issues, i have no room to run my mouth in an arrogant manner should kerry win and not only that, if bush wins I will still give props to the rightful (no pun intended) people.

-250 either way is not quite -9000 this is far from done

Some can but I'm going to rub it in like crazy to all the Bush backers I know. Screw acting like I've been here before. It's all out carnage.

Well, I won't claim to have some moral high ground. It's just a suggestion. For myself, I'll stick by it. I think some change has to start somewhere. Bitterness will just carry the day election-by-election. Our country needn't be THIS divided, IMO.

Do you think if Kerry wins that a majority of these
haters would cheer him on? I think most of them would
rather see negative news and carry on their hate.
I'm sorry, maybe I am wrong but that is the way I see it.
After all didn't the great majority of the country back
Bush after the tragedy of 9-11. That is the difference,
do you think the same thing would have happened
with Clinton? I doubt it.

Who's a Kerry supporter?
I thought the concerns expressed here were about the evils of dumbya.
