BAMA is the best team I've ever seen. I'm 37 and have been watching since 1992 and cant recall a better team. Not USC or MIAMI.

Great offense, the defense isn't close to Saban's best.

Miami teams from early 2000 would beat this team. Those teams were LOADED with NFL stars, not just guys that make it to the NFL. Bama sends a lot of players to the NFL, many very good players, but not many are stars and some are busts.

The U sent guys to the NFL that had great careers and were stars.

After losing in 2000, there was no fooling around in 2001. One of my best opinions ever on the national championship game ever. I think I went out of my way to tell anyone and everyone that they could bet any amount the6 wanted on Miami Fla as there would be no prisoners from the get go.

1 of my favorite all time teams. They were awesome and i remember the "scare" vs BC.

About 5 years ago, fox sports (website) did an "oral history of the 2001 hurricanes". Really good read if you were a fan of the team!!

No experience in "crunch time situations". Tua hasnt played in the 4th quarter. Most players on team havent played in the 4th quarter.

I know thats "crazy talk" but what if we're in crunch time here. Bama has had all blowouts all season and fans have only watched the 4th quarter to see if they will or will not cover. They will be on the road at a hostile environment in a nite game.

Not so Weird Knightrofins.....I remember Al McGuire, the very successful basketball coach at Marquette for many years (296-80 and one NCAA title) who said, "for a team to win the basketball National Championship, they must win 2 tournament games by three points or less". I realize this might not be an appropriate comparable (basketball & football) nor am I suggesting that Alabama will not win the NC , but it would be fair to speculate that they may be in a "nail biter" or two before all the games are played and done.

Not crazy talk. When Ohio st beat Miami they had been battle tested with close wins that went down to the wire. Miami was way ahead all year and didn’t have much experience under fire....
