Anyone know if CFL games are shown live here in the USA? I have directv but have never seen them listed anywhere on here. Thanks for any information available.
No, it is a violation of content laws in Canada and the USA. TSN is a subsidiary of ESPN, thus no. However depending on where you are, you may be able to pick up CBC, whom usually broadcasts games on Sat and Sun. Baltimore, who once had a CFL team, was also unable to watch their opponents, because the games could not be broadcast in the USA.
Living in Michigan if you go to Windsor and get an ExpressVu satellite you can get TSN with a Canadian subscription. A little complicated but great for hockey and Jays games you can't get on Directv.
Thanks everyone for the information. I live in Miami so I am out of luck I guess. Thanks for the CFL TV overview Dr. Hockey. I was able to listen live thank you Batman. Too bad they cant agree to allow the USA to broadcast games live on tv for a fee. I guess it just makes too much sense.
I know the ones you are speaking of, I have seen them too. I believe that they are all reruns I think. I was hoping for live game viewing here in the states, so I might be able to wager on them. I really dont like to wager on events that I cant watch live on tv or in person.

TSN is actually majority-owned by Bell Globemedia.
You can order a Canadian satellite from anywhere in the U.S. from a brokerage located at http://www.canamsatellites.com/index.html . I don't care about the CFL, but it's a great deal. It's a lot like the basic package offered by DISH or DirecTV, except for the fact that you don't have access to the Fox Regional Nets, and it's priced in Canadian dollars. Finally, it's as easy to install as a DISH system.
