Cards best record in MLB.
Reds were about a game or two off of having the worst record in MLB just a few days ago.... that is, o/c, before they 3 straight from the Cards.
Anybody have any idea what the Cards are doing?
Anyways, Wacha (15-5) goes for STL today in Cincy to prevent the 4-game sweep. Really, how many times has the best team in baseball been swept by the (near) worst team in baseball in a 4-game series.... and especially in a pennant race? This is truly something amazing.
The Cards give up the fewest runs in the majors by a mile. Only team in the league to have only give up runs in the 400's. Nobody else even close. .... and that's even after having been blasted 20-3 in their last 3 games vs. Cincy.... and having given up 47 runs in their last 7 games. (ALMOST 7 RUNS PER GAME!!!!)
Just 1-6 in their last 7 games..... can the Cards win a game with their stud on the mound?
