Billy Corgan (formerly of the group Smashing Pumpkins) sang the song during the 7th-inning stretch tonight. Could it be the anti-Bernie Mac factor?

I love the smashing pumpkins, but i think my voice is better. He jinxed the cubs. Just kidding.

used to be a big Pumpkins fan when I was younger Lander.
I remember the drummer died of an OD, and the female bass player was in and out of rehab. Never heard Billy was though, he's more of a loner, music guy.
But then again, wouldn't surprise me if he was after all he was a rock and roll star, and most of them seem to have some kind of addiction.
