I think SBR downgraded Pointbet. I looked at site once, looked like they copy Pinny lines.

Pointbet
PROs
if you want to bet soccer it will be really hard to find a better line or wider offer (especially asian handicaps), many leagues
as I lurked few times into us sports offer, it's quite atractive
they have plenty of satisfied customers from Europe and good opinion on the betting forums I know

CONs
D grade or something like that at SBR (location and legality of operation issues)
common complain - their site is often down
payouts (neteller unavailable, BTW) take few days from time to time

Personally I'd rather stick with worse offer but with more safety

What is a soccer sportsbook with good lines, wide variety and safety?

I don't bet much soccer, and stick to Pinnacle when I do, but you might wanna check Coral Eurobet and compare their lines with others. That's a safe group.

Apart from obvious choices like pinnacle, Oly or 5 dimes, if I have to chose I would recommend Gamebookers (very good shop, one of the best for soccer)
Pointbet may seem a risky operation, however you don't have to deposit whole bankroll there - they are surely leaders for soccer

How about 10bet? I think they are new. They have a wide variety and good lines.
