is it something like a Jew that believes Jesus is the son of God?

If you want to talk about hypocrisy, maybe we should talk about what the adult candidates actually say for themselves, as opposed to a mistake a minor daughter made which is not hypocritical at all.

Its a kinda mark of the beast thing.

If you aint a catholic then its pointless asking because you won't understand.

All catholics have a free bus pass to paradise on the express bus reserved for catholics, no questions are asked at the gates of heaven, you just drive straight through.

You can be baptized Catholic and not agree w/ the Church's stance on abortion.

The same way someone who believes in the Ten Commandments, fights in a war and kills another human.

Do you honestly think every Catholic follows the Church teachings exactly?

Great point.

According to the head of the church in Rome, anyone who is
pro-abortion and takes Catholic communion commits sacrilege.

Instead, they are commanded to reform their life, and come back later.

[But, we all know Joe Biden is a sleazy liar anyway]

I'm not a Roman Catholic, but Kudos to the church for standing
up to such blatant hypocrisy.

The Vatican (LifeNews.com) -- A leading Catholic official has said in a new interview with a Christian magazine that pro-abortion elected officials who are Catholics shouldn't receive communion.

In the new comments, Archbishop Raymond Burke, the prefect of the Apostolic Signature, said all Catholics -- but especially politicians -- should not receive communion.

Archbishop Burke also issued a challenge to ministers to make sure they are not providing the sacrament to pro-abortion lawmakers who have not repented from their position, which is at odds with the pro-life teachings of the Catholic Church.

Communion should be denied to pro-abortion politicians “until they have reformed their lives," he said, in the interview with Radici Christiane magazine.
“Receiving the Body and Blood of Christ unworthily is a sacrilege,” he warned. “If it is done deliberately in mortal sin it is a sacrilege.”

Archbishop Burke discussed “public officials who, with knowledge and consent, uphold actions that are against the Divine and Eternal moral law."

"For example, if they support abortion, which entails the taking of innocent and defenseless human lives. A person who commits sin in this way should be publicly admonished in such a way as to not receive Communion until he or she has reformed his life,” he told the publication.

Burke said not denying communion makes a bad witness to other Catholics and the public.

“If we have a public figure who is openly and deliberately upholding abortion rights and receiving the Eucharist, what will the average person think?" he explained. "He or she could come to believe that it up to a certain point it is okay to do away with an innocent life in the mother’s womb."

Pro abortion is not a position any Catholic can take. One doesn't get to write his own beliefs.

A pro abortion catholic is called...

a catholic

A pro-abortion politician is someone the Roman Catholic church
doesn't want as members until they reform their life, and stop
being such hypocrites.

Rome tries to make us feel guilty and stuff from time to time, but Rome never gets serious unless someone backs them into a corner.

Catholicism is so huge Rome is wasting its time trying to write petty rules.

Baby execution isn't exactly a minor teaching in the Catholic church now
is it?

And that is exactly what the church considers it, the execution of
human life.

There HAVE been bad Catholics from time to time, Catholics who may not make it into heaven.

For example, Adolf Hitler was a Catholic.
Those idiots who molested kids in America.

:drink:

But on the whole if you live a reasonable life then you're laffing.

Shellfish?

Leviticus 11:9-12 says:
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Deuteronomy 14:9-10 says:
9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

And your point is?

So what. There were Mosaic Dietary Laws (Mosaic = under Moses).

When the Bible says that eating shellfish is an abomination under the Mosaic dietary rules, abomination in that case is rendered from the Hebrew word sheqets which means filthy. Under the Mosaic dietary laws, the Hebrews were to consider shellfish filthy, that is unclean, food.

Are you a convert?

For some reason Catholic converts seem to believe that "following rules" will make them a better catholic.

Real catholics dont worry about these kinda details.
