Princess the camel, known for her prowess of picking Super Bowl winners, died at the age of 27, according to the Popcorn Zoo in New Jersey.
Princess lived in the Popcorn Zoo since she was 10 years old. She became a sort of cult phenom for picking the Giants to win Super Bowl XLVI and the Ravens to defeat the San Franciscio 49ers last year.
Her final pick this season was also correct: choosing the Denver Broncos to defeat the San Diego Chargers last weekend.
Her selection process was simple and edible: Zoo general manager John Bergmann wrote the names of the teams playing in the game on his hands. He would then put a graham cracker in each. Whichever hand/team/cracker Princess selected was her choice for that game.
In her youth, Princess was a pet of the late tobacco heiress Doris Duke, residing on the grounds of her New Jersey estate
