No, not the NYY/CWS Game #2. I have several others in mind for tonight.

One that I will announce now is ARI -123 at Bodog. I really like this one that I'd play this on my current attempt (hoping CWS does win) since I already got two nice dog prices for Attempt B (+155 and +157). My 3rd attempt on Attempt B would definitely be ARI -123 but just need to wait until the fat lady has sung first.

In case the Yankees come back to win, I'd have to see if I want the -123 ARI price to be on the 1st bet level or not. Based on what I have seen with others who have kindly shared their attempts, it looks like I would be okay if I vary dogs and small favs, even alternatively.

not sure if i'll go all the way with 10, but i'm at 6 wins as of today. i took a couple of chances with +120 on white sox and +130 on cardinals, but played it safe otherwise. if i keep using -150 or -160 games, the growth is so much smalelr. even 10% makes a HUGE difference... depending on how i do today i bases and nba, i may continue the parlay or stop it at 6. i might start the next one at $20 and try for 6. that should be interesting.

I wanted to get back to you on this post of yours, Poker Ninja.

That was why I wanted to "try" to play dogs EARLY in the streak so they can be thrown out of window as I win a few games then I can safely play some small favorites (less than -150). Of course, by playing the dogs or taking a chance on the RL, I may lose more attempts that way. It's a catch-22 situation, but still something to work with.

As I told you in an earlier post, if you find it hard to bet $500 or higher, then yes, you can already stop at your 6 wins for $404. Then you can try $20 to win 5 in a row *OR* again at $10 to win 6 in a row in the same fashion you did with hitting $400 from the $10.

You played three games where it was -155, -168, -161 but you still managed to turn $10 into $404 after 6 games in a row. I was glad you shared this info to keep that in back of my mind.

Yes, many new attempts

I finally decided to be more lenient with Bet #1's; if I do pick a favorite for bet #1, then I am acknowledging to myself that I would need to get a dog pick in the next bet level or something close to that (i.e. 2 small favorites and then a big dog on 3rd level, etcetera).

I think I was too rigid with my guidelines without realizing that I can always decide what my range for each level is based on what bets have already happened in that particular attempt.

i stopped my parlay at 6, although i knew i should have gone for 7 as my two new parlay threads went 2-0 today with the indians and phillies. i'm shooting for 6 again. started with $20 on both. so the return should be nice if i manage 6 wins on both.

May 16th results

Here's a snapshot summary of May 16th results:

Attempt B, Bet #3: that hurts; COL's Hawpe had ARI's Webb's number yesterday with 2 homers, the 2nd one being a 3-run shot.

Attempt C, Bet #1: I didn't even take weather into consideration but at least the game got postponed.

Attempt D, Bet #1: I called this as expected. TEX/TB having an offensive night against mediocre pitchers. Of course, I missed out on a regular bet on this when I was telling myself, "I think I missed something to bet on... let me check." And drat, it was this game. At least I have $5 to show for it-- so far, LOL.

Attempt E, Bet #1: Sometimes we get lucky, sometimes we don't. This one, definitely unlucky! They played this game after a rain delay of forever, and then it was a 4-0 game after 6 innings. Mets *did not* need any 1-run insurance in bottom of 8th to turn it from a 7-1 to a 8-1 game. Oh well.

Attempt F, Bet #1: This was purely a value play on CWS after the Yanks stunk in the 1st game of the doubleheader earlier yesterday. Yanks end up winning the 2nd game handily and splitting the DH, good for them.

Attempt G, Bet #1: Figures that the best pick of the night "after the fact" was a -130 road favorite, but a win is a win.

Attempt H, Bet #1: I had Dodgers ML in my regular bet, but I actually was disappointed how they let the Cards take lead early.... then of course, after LAD came back to lead 5-3, Cards get one more to bust this RL play. I actually think I'm disappointed more on this bet than winning my ML bet, LOL.
