Calvin Johnson (knee) was not spotted at the beginning of practice Wednesday.
Johnson almost never practices on Wednesdays even when he's healthy, so we certainly wouldn't take this as an overly bad sign. Also, he was spotted walking toward the field with a compression sleeve on his right leg, probably to get some rehab work on the side. Owners should be expecting another game-time call ahead of Sunday's 1pm ET start at Cleveland. Coach Jim Schwartz has already said Johnson doesn't need to practice in order to suit up on gameday.

Profootballtalk.com reports Calvin Johnson will be a true game-time decision ahead of 1PM ET's clash with Cleveland.
There's no early word on the availability of Megatron because his status "will be determined at game time." Johnson looked good enough in Friday's practice that Tim Twentyman of the team's website predicted he would play against the Browns. We'll have official word before noon ET. Fantasy owners should have Megatron penciled into lineups, with an alternative at the ready.

FOX's Jay Glazer suggests Calvin Johnson (knee) could play limited snaps if he's active for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Johnson remains a true game-time call as he's working out for the Lions medical staff and coaches Sunday morning. Per Glazer, the team is "hopeful he can help on 3rd down and red zone." Meanwhile, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Calvin has ditched his knee brace. It's almost impossible to sit the game's best receiver if he's active -- even if he'll play limited snaps.

Calvin Johnson (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 6 game against the Browns.Johnson was cleared to play after getting through pre-game warmups without any setbacks. He could be on a limited snap count and reduced to third down and red-zone situations, but is healthy enough to return after missing last week's game. Even at less than 100 percent, Johnson needs to be in fantasy lineups. Inactive for the Lions are WR Nate Burleson, TE Tony Scheffler, QB Kellen Moore, RT Jason Fox, CB Jonte Green, RB Theo Riddick, and C Leroy Harris.

ESPN's Bob Holtzman confirmed early Sunday that Calvin Johnson (probable, knee) expects to be full go Sunday against Cincinnati.
"Doesn't expect to be limited today and should play a lot more," is how Holtman described Megatron after a pre-game conversation with him. Per Holtzman, Johnson admits he's still not 100 percent, but he's getting close. Megatron practiced each day this week for the first time since September.

Calvin Johnson (knee) and Joique Bell (ribs) are officially active for Sunday's Week 7 game against the Bengals.
Megatron was listed as probable and Bell was questionable. Johnson is expected to play his full complement of snaps after being limited to 38 reps last week. Start him with confidence. Bell, on the other hand, is expected to be limited behind Reggie Bush and isn't an advisable fantasy flex play. Inactive for the Lions are Nate Burleson (broken arm), Tony Scheffler (concussion), QB Kellen Moore, G Leroy Harris, T Jason Fox, RB Theo Riddick, and CB Jonte Green.
