Bolstered by Bartolo Colon and now Vladimir Guererro and a few other nice fits, could 2004 be the "Return of the Rally Monkey"?

New Anaheim ownership looks like they will spend the dough! If these two can stay healthy lookout!

I've had Angels season tix for the past several years. 2002 was like a dream......I don't like the idea of "buying" a championship, but it seems unless SOME free agents are lured, a team can't compete.

That being said, we have QUITE a team this year....lookin' forward to October baseball in Orange County in '04 !!!

Don't forget about Jose Guillen.

Guillen, Anderson, Vlad. Is there a better hitting outfield in MLB?

Texas still doesn't have pitching, and I don't think Oakland/Seattle can duplicate their records from the last 2-3 years. Gotta like Anaheim in the AL West.

But then they'll lose to Boston or New York. I'm sure both teams will add some All-Stars before the trading deadline.

Injury risks- Both Guererro and Colon

Guerrero has the bulging disc problem , and that will be touch and go for the rest of his career...No team wanted to bite on him wanting an unheard of 8 year contract...Colon with all that extra weight on his short frame could go down at anytime, I think signing both these guys gives Anaheim as good of a team as any (if they stay healthy)

Texas is still Texas, and have lost some players.
Oakland lost Tejada (heart of the team)
Seattle should be the Angels on competition.

California should win a minimum of 95 games

Before you hand them the title, just remember that there is a certain thing called chemistry.

The game is decided on the field, not on paper.
