The defense for Calgary finally came to play last week as they held the Argos to just nine points. LB Dwaine Carpenter had two fumble recoveries, one touchdown, three tackles, a forced fumble and a sack. He was named the CFL’s Defensive Player of the Week.<o></o>

For the fourth time in the last seven years BC has started the season 1-2. They finally got a win last week as quarterback Jarious Jackson relieved Buck Pierce after Pierce was injured. Pierce is expected to be back this week. BC is second in the league this season with 10 sacks and five interceptions.<o></o>
