calder race 4 winner way #7 then DQed?

I had this 7 hourse on a tip at 5-1.

I only saw the last 4/5th of the race (I missed the very start).

My horse tracked in second 1/2 length behind the front runner. Blew by him top of the stretch and ran away form all the others with just the 8 horse comming 8 wide late to get second.

As easy of a win as you can ask for

Then I leave without seeing the replay or the prices.

Then I look on line and see that they DQed my 7 horse


What did my horse do comming out of the gate?

They placed him third wo he must have hindered the 8 or the 5 at some point.

Seeing that result just baffled me

Any race replay's for calder on line?

i did happen to watch the race- he didn't do anything at the start, but shifted out very very badly in the stretch, causing the original third place finisher to take up a sixteenth or so from the wire. your horse drifted brutally, but i'm not sure the dq was warranted b/c the horse that finish third was going to finish third in any event, interference or not. i guess the calder stewards are sending a message that failing to maintain a straight course will result in both a suspension and a dq. tough break, try.

wow he blew by that horse and was going to beat him by 5 lenghts and did and was at least 2 lengths clear he was all out and did move out as he was going for the win all out (word was out on that horse he was supposed to win that race) but wow that was no way a DQ.

it's a bad beat, but did you see the head on? he shifted out more than four paths, which is spells dq 9 times out of 10. alas, it sucks, b/c he was the best horse in the race.

yes he moved over big time as he was ALL OUT to WIN and was CLEAR of the horse he moved out on. Im over it but that was really a shock to me when I saw the result.
