AMBER ON THE RUN has had bad racing luck in each of her last two and should rebound here since she might inherit the lead - even though she doesn't want it. However, I'm drawn to MISS ROXANNA as well with the switch to the Garcia barn. He's had a race to look her over and I think improvement is likely.

THEMUS has been off since January but I can look past that since she worked pretty steady through July. Has faced much tougher - should fire at a decent price.

CRIMSON RISING only needs a clean break to be able to handle this group. Love the bullet on 7/28. Also like CHARUTE to make some noise off the layoff.

First time lasix for JALYN who raced wide and tired in debut. Let's hope she learned something from that one.

Off the turf - looks like it just started raining although I'm not sure if it is one of those "quick" Fla showers. PATRIOTIC FLAME beat DJ'S HOPE by a neck even after being steadied early in the last meeting. I look for these two to tangle again with DJ coming out on top.

Last of the day for me - wide open 2 yr olds. Kathy Ritvo is becoming something worth watching with first timers. She's got JO JO BEAN here and, despite uninspiring works, he's getting some action. Is the word out? Why not?
