also, isn't there a big delay on satellite? meaning, you'll see the play 2 or 3 later seconds on satellite than you would thru cable or regular tv, no?
thanks

DirecTV is a 2 second delay difference than cable. I have both. Even a 2 second delay is annoying when you are playing interactives.

Directv is the best because of all the sports packages. Stocks-YOu get both CNBC and Bloomberg.

the only reason that direct is better than the rest is the nfl sunday ticket package because other than that there is no difference between direct and dish unless of course your doing something else with those units

dtv is nice with the sports package.
who cares about the delay, you see it when you see it, unless you like sites like tradessports.
i cant stand the delay in channel surfing.3 seconds at least from channel to channel.
nfl ticket sucks, to many commercials.

my satelite switches channels a lot faster than my digital cable. how fast the channels change is dependent on the model satelite box you have.

Actually the people that were doing something else with those direct tv units are seeing nothing but a black screen now..but only a matter of time before the inevitable

The delay is only annoying to me if I am on the phone with someone without Directv. Not really a big deal though.

I love Directv. They are the only one with the NFL. Fox Sportsworld not on cable (gotta watch me soccer football).

Customer service is not even close.

All of the Foxsports stations so if you like to watch the coaches shows or replays of games during the week (college) thats a fun thing.

East n west feeds of HBO/Starz/Showtime/Cinemax...

Digital cable gives you more movie type channels but I would rather have the sports channels and packages. There is never anything on the movie channels anyway so who cares about more of them?

Also you get CNBC, CNBC world, Bloomberg 24/7 ,

Out west you get your Sopranos fix at 6pm on Sundays.

And the price makes the decision easy.

In the history of the world no more horrible sentence has ever been uttered

SAMSTIN:"nfl ticket sucks"

That is just wrong. 189 bucks for every NFL game!!!!!! They charge $30 for wrestling once a month.
That NFL package is awesome and would be a bargain at $500

i'm sure some of you guys are probly looking for something like this to do for your cable if your going thru withdraw so do a google search for "cable descramblers" or get a coolbox on ebay. You need something compatible with what your cable provider rents you; coolbox is universal descrambler
