C-Span Saturday: "Illegal Online Gambling"

At 9:20 EST tomorrow C-Span is doing an event they call "Illegal Online Gambling."

They should title it "Online Gambling -- Legal or Illegal?" or something like that.

Senator Kyl is try to push legislation through prohibiting online gambling. Why is it necessary to write legislation against it, if it is already illegal? I think Kyl tacitly implies it is currently legal by writing legislation opposing it.

Just a heads up on the show.

Doesnt this KYL remind ya of one of those little old ladies in the supermarket. Surely he has something more productive he could be doing with his position.

He most likely is a COMPULSIVE GAMBLER, and thinks this his how he can cure his addiction.

What a LOSER.......

I didn't get a chance to see it, but I have a recording. I'll let you all know after I view it.

One interesting thing, before the talk was held, I spoke with one of the speakers. I mentioned the fact that the title of the talk "Illegaln Online Gambling" was inaccurate because it is not illegal. He mentioned that he would call the producer and ask for the word "Illegal" to be taken out of the title. I hope it was, but either way, I was happy the speaker wanted to set things straight.
