NFCE -
Dallas could be 7-2 or 8-1 going into their bye week.
- I have Philly and the Giants pretty close in ranking, but the Eagles have the advantage of a last place schedule (2 easier games) and they have Dallas in week 17 ( when they could be resting starters). The Giants schedule is actually a little easier early on, but they lost 2 great pass rushers and I feel that was a much bigger loss than losing Tikie Barber or Luke last year.
- The Redskins have the worst quarterback in the division, a new coach, and look like a 6-10, maybe 7-9 team and clearly the fodder of the division.

- I see Green Bay and Minnesota fighting for the crown, and Chicago and Detroit fighting for last place. If Minnesota would bench Jackson and start Gus, they could win the division, but Childress is hopeless with Jackson. I think the Pack wins it with maybe only a 9-7 record. Detroit probably has the best quarterback in the North, but they had the worst defense in the league last year and I don't like their coach. Green Bay and Minnesota have the talent, I juse see Aaron Rodgers losing less games for his team than T-Jack.

This is the hardest race to predict with 3 pretty equally matched teams. It might come down to who gets hurt the least.

Last year I picked Carolina and they ran through 4 quarterbacks. With a healthy Delhomme, they probably did win the damn thing. I like how they added Muhhamid back to give a threat opposite of SSmith.
- Tampa is a formitable team with a defense, efficient qb, and I think antonio Bryant will ad something to that offense with Joey and his grey beard, and a slow Ike hillard. Bryant is a playmaker. Tampa should be about a 9-7 or 10-6 team and fighting for a wc, but I like the Giants or eagles to beat them out for that spot.
- NO added players were they needed to, and I believe they have a slightly easier schedule, especially after their bye ( @atl, @kc, GB,@TB, atl, @chi, @det, car. I am going with Drew Brees and the saints.

- This is Seattles to be lost. SD, SEA and NE are probably the best bets to win their division. If Seattle goes 11-5, 10-6 and the next closest team is about 8-8, 7-9, they look pretty good to win on paper.
- I think Arizona has the potential, and wisenhunt is a decent coach.
- The rams need to build the D, I like their D-Line, but the back 7 minus weatherspoon is a problem. Bulger also looked shaky in the preseason and the team has trouble on the road.
- The 49ers were a good fade for me last year when people thought they were a sleeper.

- One side of me remembers the Pats barley beating Kyle Bollier, AJ Feely and losing to the Giants in the SB, the other side sees their schedule and sees another strong year in store for the Pats.
- The Jets will NOT make the playoffs, too much talent in the AFC, but they could go 7-9, maybe 8-8 which would double last years win total.
- Buff finally kicks out JP Losman of the starting role, but they still have work to do.
- Miami might actually not be THAT bad and could win 5 games this year.

This could be the best divison in football. I picked the Colts to finish 1st in the AFC even though their schedule is a little harder than the Pats. I think the could go 14-2, 13-3 depending on how things play out. They do have a tough stretch weeks 8 through 13 with @tenn, NE, @Pitt, Hou, @SD, @Cle. I expect them to lose 2 games in there and probably pretty much win the table with the rest.
- I sort of want to fade the success David Garrard had in Jax, but I do like them adding those young DE's and I like Jack at coach. Their start could be a little rough at 2-3, but they still look stronger than Tenn or Houston at this point.
- Tenn could be a 9-7 playoff team that has 3 real hard games at the end with @Hou, Pitt and @ Indy. Fisher is one of the best coaches in the league, they will run the ball and play D. You will have to EARN victories against thist eam.
- I really want to pick Houston as a suprise team as I think Schaubb will have a better than expected year, and Kubiak is a good coach, but the defense is still young and growing. This team is a team to watch. If they swapped places with SD, Pitt, Sea, GB they would win those divisions, but they are unlucky enough to be in the AFCS and they are looking at fighting for a wildcard. Their schedule is tough, but they can still finish 7-9 even with that schedule.

- SD could be 6-2 going into their bye, and are probably about 3 games better than denver (11-5 vs 8-8).
- Denver is easily the 2nd best team in the divison to me, but this is the NFL and there are injuries.
- KC and Oakland look like about 5-11, 4-12 teams with unsettled QB's. I wonder if Damon Huard will get starts for KC, and how the RB's will hold up.

- Pittsburgh is the best team in the division, but their schedule sucks. They might only go 9-7 and win the north. They do have the most complete team in the divison though, and I think they are stronger than they get credit for.
- Cincy at least has an offense. Marvin Lewis needs to go and the defense sucks, but they will be a good team for fantasy football players.
- Cleveland is overrated to me right now. People are still hot on them being such a sleeper team, but DA will have to do it again for me before I buy into all the hype.
- Bal could quietly be a 4-12 team when you actually look at their schedule. They will certainly have an above average D, but I am NOT a fan at all of Flacco, Smith and Bollier is already hurt. Troy Smith isn't even close to being a starting QB ( probably not even backup level) and Flacco has no business putting on a uniform as an opening day starter. There are more teams than starting QB's in the NFL, and this team could get crushed by the schedule. Also not a fan of the new coach.

Very nice read indeed C but don't let those dark horses like chOakland sneak up and bite you in the ass and/or pocketbook.

I sort of feel square picking a Dal/Indy SB but that is what I see. Last year I had a Philly/NE and I thought that was pretty damn good ( I got NE futures at 12/1 when nobody liked them).

I still feel Indy is being slept on ( NE hype), and Dallas is a juggarnaut of the NFC.

I still think Philly is vastly underrated by the media/public and Seattle and NO have decent shots at the SB as well.
