Houston -113: I think both teams have good hitting, but Oswalt is clearly the better starting pitcher here. There is a rivalry, and I have been successfully backing Oswalt and I will again here at a -113 and what I consider a good price.
Mets -176: Sure the Mets are on the road but you ONLY have to pay -176 for a dominant Santana vs a weak hitting Giants lineup. RJ is on my fantasy team and has setteled down some, but the Mets bats are hot winning 9 of their last 11 and hitting Line cum around last night for 8 . I'll take the stud pitcher and the hot team.
Arizona +105: Arizona is a team that I usually bet against, but I have been following this pitcher and he's actually pretty good. He throws gas and will be facing and Atlanta team that I bet against and win against.
The Japanese Pitcher pitched vs the Mets recently and all he did was throw on the outside portion of the plate. The announcers were calling him out " guess where the next pitch will be". It was freaking comical. I think that when you know where a guy is throwing, I don't care if it's outside/inside/high/low, whatever, you do have an advantage.
So, I'll take the hot young pitcher, vs the predictable Asian pitcher. Neither teams hitting scares me, but I have faded the Braves well and I'll take the plus money dog here.
Yanks -200: Yeah yeah, it's a saturday, they are a heavy favorite and I did over pay for this line, but I do think the Yanks win. Minnesota doesn't win on the road, and Joba has pitched pretty well.
Angels +104: I bet on Texas a lot, but I have to side with John Lacky here at plus money. I guess his health will matter and he might not last long ( the angels have a horrible pen), but I still like him Over Padilla, and I like that Chone Figgins is back. I'll take the rival team at plus money with the better pitcher if he's back healthy.
Phils RL +120: This game could be another game with runs, and I'll take the wife beater in this. Olsen could do alright or bad, Meyers could do decent or average. I think the Phils take this one, and it won't be by 1 run.
These teams compete and get into hitting fests, and I like Meyers a lot more than Olsen, and the Phils hit lefties...
